A hard wood or tile floor is a good start for the parent looking to increase the discomfort of a corner time session. Even better in the grand scope of a corner time punishment is for the young lady to have to kneel on a brick of cement fireplace mantle. When kneeling, almost 95% of her weight will be on her knees, and when required to maintain this position for an hour, it becomes quite difficult to do. Some parents also require her to fold her hands behind her back, or to put her hands behind the back of her head. While a bar of soap in a girl’s mouth is not painful, it is still a physical punishment applied to a part of her body, and when done correctly, it is indeed a punishment. Most people go well out of their way to avoid foods that they do not like the taste of, and the taste of soap in the mouth, is definitely a taste that everyone would like to avoid. The process of washing her mouth out with soap also serves the purpose of punishing the exact part of her body that created the offense. There are really no situations in which a teen girl did something with her bottom, which required it to be what is punished, her bottom is simply the best location for applying physical punishment. But a teen girl’s mouth is so often the source of what gets her into trouble. She may be in trouble for lying, yelling, smoking, being disrespectful, and all of the other things that a teen girl’s mouth gets her into. It makes a lot of sense that the actual source of the problem be punished. This is not to say that a hard spanking should not accompany the mouth soaping, but for a girl that is used to getting her bottom spanked on a regular basis, 10 minutes with a bar of soap going in and out of her mouth, can only help in the learning process.
