I feel that it is safe to say, that when a girl lives in a home in which corporal punishment is still used well into her teen years, the belt is the most common implement used, especially in the US. There are many reasons for this, but the primary one is effectiveness. While in our fantasies, we would love to picture an 18-year-old girl, in a very strict home, dropping her pants and panties for a bare bottom spanking, this is not typical for a girl that age. Even in those homes in which bare bottom spankings were the norm at some point in her life, there is generally an age in which this becomes less common. This is what leads most parents to the belt, as they need something that will still teach a good lesson when used over clothing.
As someone who has an endless fascination with the corporal punishment of teenage girls, I am very pleased to see a brand-new series recently launched by Realspankings.com. In this new series, they fully explore the effectiveness of corporal punishment with a belt, applied over clothing, to the female bottom. What makes this extra special is the realism of the punishment. Each participant is sat down for an interview prior to the whoopin they receive. They discuss their thoughts on corporal punishment in the home, and share in detail their own experiences being spanked by mom or dad (if they were spanked growing up). One of the most recent ones was fascinating as Devon described bare bottom OTK spankings she received from her mom, typically with a wooden spoon, well into her teens years.
What makes these scenes very powerful is the fact that each girl is given a “cold strapping”, meaning that they were not spanked at all before this scene. Each of the girls shows us their bare bottom before the strapping, and in all cases there is not the tiniest bit of pink at all. I find this to be important as no teen girl gets any sort of warm-up prior to her bottom being worn out with a belt. After the interview he gives them each a realistic scenario to help get them into the right mindset, things like getting caught texting and driving.
Once the scenario is explained, the spanker is no longer nice and then marches them to the place in which they will be strapped. Unlike what you see in many spanking videos, these strappings are the real deal, and administered exactly like an angry dad would to his daughter. The belt that is used is one of the biggest I have ever seen and it is clearly effective. There is absolutely no warm-up, with each swing of the belt being full force. These are not small swings that only involve the arm or forearm, these are full body swings meant to teach a lesson. Each girl is given 30 full-force strokes with the extra heavy leather belt, with no break at all.
There are two cameras to capture the action, both a face and a butt camera. When the punishment is over, the girls are asked to sit back down and talk about the experience. Most importantly, they are asked if that would change their behavior. A couple of these girls are still in their older teens, so it is quite realistic as they are only a couple of years out of high school. The reactions are mixed, from tears to giggles, but it is clear that none of them would likely want to repeat such a punishment again anytime soon. After the final interview, they are asked to bare their bottoms and show the results. As you would expect, all bottoms are as red as can be, but in most cases they are also bruised.

It began a few weeks before when Mable found herself in trouble at school. It was not the first time she had been sent to the office for this offense, so the principal felt the best way to handle it on that day was to apply a very forceful paddling to her teen bottom. After all, she was a cheerleader, and as such a visible student, there were expectations that she would set a good example for the rest of the student body. She took 10 very hard swats to her bottom, but unfortunately for her, this was not the end of her punishment.

The principal called home, as is required when corporal punishment is administered, and he was assured that when she got home that evening after cheer practice, the issue would be dealt with. While it had rarely come up before, Mable’s dad had a strict policy that if she was ever paddled at school, then she would be paddled at home as well. After practice Mable went home, hoping for the best, but assuming the worst. Her dad had not paddled her bottom in more than three years and she was very hopeful that he would not start again on this day.

After she drove herself home, from the evening practice, it was clear from the moment she stepped in the door that she was in for it. Her dad sent her to get the paddle from his room, which was still sitting in the same place that she had placed it after her last paddling, when she was 14 years old. Just as had always been the case, when a spanking was more common in their home, she was told to bare her bottom and go over the arm of the couch in the living room. Her bottom was already quite black and blue from the school paddling, but that did not slow her dad down in the slightest. He used the thick wooden paddle and worked her bare bottom long and hard until the tears were flowing.

He was indeed very surprised, to get a phone call at work, just three weeks later, informing him that Mable had not only been paddled at school again, but would also be serving a 3 day in school suspension. This was not the behavior he expected from his daughter and clearly the paddling he gave her had not been as effective as he had hoped. He thought long and hard and tried to figure out a way to punish her that would actually change her behavior.

As was the case previously, Mable came home with a very sore bottom. She did not think that the principal could paddle her any harder than he had before, but she was wrong. She once again had received the maximum allowed, 10 swats, but he really laid them on her. Her butt was very sore and the drive home had proved to be quite painful. She knew that the moment that she walked in the door, that she would be sent for the paddle, but this time she was wrong. Her dad greeted her in the living room and handed her a pair of scissors. He told her to head out into the backyard and to cut two large switches to be used on her bottom. She had never had a switching, but she did not like the sounds of it. Her dad knew from his own childhood experiences, and summers on his grandparent’s farm, how very effective this could be.

She found herself wandering around the backyard actually looking for little branches for her dad to punish her with. It was not a very easy decision for her to make, as she considered how each one of the choices before her were going to feel on her bare bottom. He was clearly angry, and had specified “large switches” so she knew better than to pick something too small. She finally found a bush that had long and straight looking branches on them and used the scissors to cut them from the bush. She was not exactly sure what to do next, so she took them into the house and showed them to her dad. He explained that they needed to be “cleaned” and showed her how by pulling a few of the smaller branches and leaves off. He told her to get a waste basket, bring it to the living room, and to come and get him when they were properly cleaned.
She is almost done with the second switch and will soon be feeling them both.
She spent the next 20 minutes pulling each and every little branch off of the main stick. Just as was the case when choosing the switches, it was not a fun task for her, preparing the actual implement that was going to be used on her. She spent the whole time shifting her weight from one cheek to the other, as even on the padded sofa, her bottom was still aching from the paddling. When she peeled the last piece off, she went and found her dad in his office and told him that she was done. He came into the living room and inspected the switches and found them to be to his approval. At the same time, he was brought back to his childhood, when he had to do the very same thing, and he knew that she was about to be in a world of pain.

He told her to bare her bottom and bend over the couch. She undid her cute little overalls, lowered them and her panties and bent over as instructed. He was very impressed with the work the principal had done on her bottom, as it was completely black and blue. He did not let this affect how he handled it as he was determined to get her behavior back in line. He went right to work with the switch, starting at the very top of her teen butt. Just as his grandma had, he used the switch very fast. Each stroke was placed less than an inch lower than the previous one. Unlike with the paddle, in which he was limited to her bottom, he did not stop when he got to her thighs.

He worked the switch all the way down her thighs, stopping just before the back of her knees, and then started working his way back up. He knew from experience that these ones were the most painful, so he really made them count. He continued working his way up until he was where he had started, and then began the entire process over again. She was quickly in tears, as there was really no way not to be with a switching of this intensity. Over the course of the punishment, the first switch wore out after just a couple of trips up and down. It slowly broke apart, leaving bit and pieces of the branch on the living room floor. When it was too short to still be effective, he moved onto the other one she had cleaned for her punishment. He made that same trip, from the top of her bottom, to just above her knees, and back…four separate times, and until both switches were completely destroyed.

The tears were really flowing, which was exactly the point. He told her to step out of her overalls and panties and to get the vacuum cleaner and take care of the mess she had made. With her cute butt and thighs completely striped from the switches, she walked to the garage and grabbed the vacuum. She spent the next 5 minutes, with tears still in her eyes, vacuuming the living room floor, making sure not to miss a single piece of the branch that was now spread all over the floor.

There are certainly a wide variety of position that a young lady can be spanked in. They each serve as purpose, but some make it easier for her to endure her spanking, which is contrary to the whole process. If she is simply pushed over some object, like a bed or a couch, and held in place, all she really has to focus on is the pain her bottom is experiencing. This does not make her an active part of the process.

She needs to be engaged, for the entire duration of her spanking, and required to be an active participant. Having to help, assist, and actively participate, allows her to have greater ownership of the process. Every part of the punishment is about her. It is her actions or behaviors that led to this situation in the first place. The person charged with her discipline is there to assist her in making good decisions in her life. This process can not all be put on the person administering the punishment, she must own at least an equal share.

There are many parents that have their daughters bend over and object and put their hands down for support. Yes, this might help keep her stable, and possibly more still for her spanking, but it also makes it easier for her. Any naughty teen girl should be required to hold still for her spanking, and by having something to grab onto, she is better able to maintain her position. But this is HER spanking, and she should be required to maintain her position regardless of what it is.
Self-supporting positions requires her to be more engaged in the disciplinary process.
A position that is self-supporting tends to add a lot to the overall punishment. First, no one is going to force her into position and hold her in place, this is all on her. She is old enough now to realize that certain actions come with consequences, and it many homes throughout the world, the consequence is a spanking. She is not a toddler that mom must drag over her knee and hold in place to administer a spanking.
It is her responsibility to hold her position while dad wears her bottom out with the belt.
She is an older teen and she needs to take responsibility for her actions. Part of this responsibility is properly presenting her bottom in a manner that will allow for hard and effective spanking. It is not going to be forced, she is going to be told what position to assume, and she better do it. Presenting her bottom to be spanked gives her ownership for the discipline that she requires. She is acknowledging her behavior by bending over and providing a target for learning.

Typical self-supportive positions are a young lady bending over and either placing her hands on her knees, or ever better, grabbing her ankles. In either position, with a wide stance, she should be stable enough to accept the spanking she has coming. If she is going to get a hard paddling, it might be a little more difficult for her to stay in position, as each hard swat with a heavy wooden paddle will push her forward a bit. But nothing about a spanking is supposed to be easy. She is going to have to work hard, and concentrate to maintain her position throughout, which once again, keeps her actively engaged in the process and forces her to actually cooperate during her spanking.
It is not easy to hold still while dad paddles her bottom, but it is not supposed to be.
With her grabbing her ankles, we are accomplishing a few different things. First, this simply is not very comfortable, which makes it ideal, as no part of corporal punishment should be comfortable in any way. Another major bonus to this position is the fact that it pulls all of the skin very tight on her bottom, pushing the muscles closer to the surface, allowing for her bottom to be less padded. This allows whatever implement that is being used, to connect more effectively and increases the chances for long term soreness.

Grabbing her ankles adds an additional sense of vulnerability to her punishment. Laying down on a bed feels far different than spreading her legs and grabbing her ankles. It puts all of the focus on exactly where it should be…her bottom. There is no sense of safety or security when a young lady is grabbing her ankles and it is powerful as a disciplinary tool even before the first swat lands.
This is how real lessons are learned.
For many parents, once she is in this position, they are in no hurry to begin. What a great moment for her to reflect on her behavior, as she bends over in the middle of the family room, just waiting for her spanking to begin. She has accepted responsibility by assuming this position in the first place, and is simply waiting for it to begin. The longer she waits, the more time she has to consider how she could have handled things differently.
In position, belt ready, but dad is in no hurry and allows her to think about her actions before he tears her bottom up.
It also allows her to consider how very much the spanking is going to hurt. Fear and anticipation can be very effective learning tools and at no point is it more powerful than when she is in position with her bottom in the air. She will find herself wondering how many she is going to get, how hard they are going to be applied, wondering how she is going to keep in position, and what will happen if she is unable to.
Is dad coming back with the belt? The paddle? How many will she get? There is much to think about as she waits for her spanking.
Moving out of position should indeed come with extra consequences. If she is moving, she in interfering with the process. The whole purpose, and why they are even there, is to provide a considerable amount of pain to her bottom, in a safe manner. If she is moving all around and trying to stand, at the very least it could be a safety issue, as the strokes may land in a place in which they were not intended.

But more importantly, if she is moving out of position, she is making the person spanking her have to work harder. It is her spanking, and therefore her job, to make it as easy as possible for the person applying it to do it effectively. Standing up, or wiggling all about, does not make it easier for the parent in charge of discipline.
Not all spankings take place in the comfort of the home. This young lady is required to bend over and present her bottom in a little private spot at the park.
Some parents handle this by simply starting all over again, or at the very least, not allowing the swat that she stood up after count. Another effective deterrent is for the next one, following excessive movement, to be placed in a location without as much padding. A stroke of the belt, mid thighs, tends to be quite convincing as to why she should hold still.
Unfortunately for this older teen, she was unable to hold still for her strapping from dad, so he started over…twice.
There is no part of the spanking of an older teen girl that should be easy for her. She needs to be placed in a difficult and uncomfortable position that is hard to maintain during her spanking. She needs to take active ownership and actually present her bottom to be spanked, without any physical help. She needs to hold this position, regardless if she is being paddled or strapped, and regardless of how long the spanking lasts for. She needs to assist and cooperate, making it as easy as possible on the spanker, to do the very best job they can.

There are times in which corporal punishment is required. It does not matter who is present, or what the situation is, it just has to happen right then and there. In this case, this young lady wanted to go for the night with friends, but she seems to have forgotten that she was told that she is not allowed to leave the house until she received her spanking. He does not simply give her a dozen quick swats, as this punishment is going to be measured in minutes, not swats. He works the lowest part of her bottom long and hard assuring that sitting tonight will not be an option. Her legs kick up and down and she fights the pain, but there is no winning this one, this is one punishment that she will never forget.
