There are moments that call for the immediate application of corporal punishment.  When those moments arrive it does not really matter who is present to witness it.  The young lady to the left is a perfect example.  The neighbor was over for a cup of coffee and all was well until this young lady came home very late, after repeated warnings.  He decided that regardless of their being guests in the house that she needed a hard paddling and she needed it at that very moment.  She was sent for the paddle and he taught her a lesson that she will remember for a very long time.

The same thing happened to the poor young lady in the picture to the right.  It not matter to dad that her best friend was present.  When she is bad she is punished and just because there is someone else in the room does not deter him from baring her bottom and taking off his belt.  He gives it to her long and hard and her friend has to watch her endure every single stroke to her butt.

In this case this young lady not only gets in trouble with her friend, but the friend is waiting to be spanked as well.  She decides that letting her friend’s dad strap her is the better option than him calling her house.  She knows that for this offense her own father would ground her for quite some time, so she thinks she would prefer to a spanking.  She had not considered the fact that the spanking would be administered in a severe manner and that he would be using a belt.  The punishment left her in tears with a sore bottom that left her sitting gingerly for days.

In the real world, when investigating how corporal punishment really takes place in the home, one of the most common spanking implements used is the belt.  Every household has many and there is typically always a large leather one sitting around somewhere.  In the South, I would guess that the belt is the implement of choice for spanking.

In the Southern states every teen knows what “getting a whuppin” means. It always implies daddy’s western style belt, bent over, and one hell of a spanking that cannot end soon enough.

Some older teens were simply strapped over their clothes, the unlucky ones had to drop their pants and panties to feel the full sting of the belt. Nothing teaches a lesson as well as full force strokes of the belt on a bare bottom.

In the deep South the phrases “you are never too old for a spanking” and “as long as you live under my roof” still apply.  It is not uncommon for an 18 year old, high school senior, to be sent to her room for some good old fashioned corporal punishment.  Both mom and dad swing the belt and the results are always a marked and sore bottom.

Tears are common and often the goal.  A bruised bottom is not uncommon and helps the young lady realize that she needs to get her act together.  Discipline is strict and applied as often as necessary, regardless of the last time she received a whuppin.

For those of you who have ever been on the receiving end of a very real paddling, either at school from the principal or at home from mom or dad, then you are probably aware of what it is like to have bulls eye bruises on your bottom.

These types of marks really only happen as a result of a hard paddling with a wooden paddle.  With a wooden paddle the spanker has to be careful not to paddle too high, as the naughty girl’s tailbone is near the top of her butt when she is bent over.  As a result, all of the swats are applied close to on top of each other.  The results is a very specific bruise that looks like a bull’s eye.  As you can see in the attached photos from Realspankings “School Swats” series, regardless of the size or shape of the bottom, hard swats tend to leave very similar marks.  On the above photos, these paddlings took place over jeans, but were applied hard enough to really marks their poor bottoms severely.

Many students, and those unlucky enough to get paddled at home, learned the hard way that a paddling such as these last well beyond the pain felt during the paddling.  The reality is, that after just a few severe swats to the bottom with a large wooden paddle, your butt actually tends to get a little numb.  This might seem like a bonus at the time, but any paddling hard enough to create numbness, tends to stay sore for many days afterwards.

While the phrase “you won’t be able to sit down for a week” might be a bit of an exaggeration, nothing comes as close to that being true as a spanking with a wooden school paddle, or a long session with a wooden hairbrush.  In the “School Swats” series, they interview the girls both before and after their ten swat paddling to see how effective the girls thought the punishment was.  In almost all instances, the girls felt that if they knew that ten swats with a large paddle would be the result of an infraction, that they would do their best to be well behaved.

Position can also influence how much a paddling hurts and how deep the bruising is.  A paddling like the one to the left, in which the girls are required to grab their ankles, tends to leave much deeper bruises and hurts quite a bit more.  The muscles are pulled much tighter and the bottoms really feel the full impact of the paddle.

Get in Trouble Together, Get Punished Together

At the Institute it is sometime required to punish two girls at the same time.  If two young ladies are going to ignore the rules and commit the same infraction, knowing full well that the results will be strict corporal punishment, then it is only fair that they are made to watch the other punished.

On this occasion, the offense was severe enough that they were required to strip off most of their uniforms and reveal their naked bodies to the Dean. The additional aspect of being naked for their discipline assures that not only will they feel the pain of the punishment, but will have an added element of being embarrassed, which increases the chance of a change in behavior in the future.

Being that this was not the first occasion for this offense, the Dean had no choice but to apply the large punishment strap with holes, full force.  These are fully developed women, and not children, so this type of severity is the norm.  Their bottoms show the results of a properly applied punishment, and they are required to display the results of their strapping to the other students as they pass by before the next class period.  The Dean once again demonstrates that by utilizing a combination of strict corporal punishment and embarrassment that changes in attitude and behavior can indeed take place.

There are many implements that are commonly used for spanking and corporal punishment in the households of the world.  The ones used the most often are the ones found in just about every home.  A couple of items that are found in just about every home are a belt and a wooden spoon.

When used vigorously a wooden spoon can be a very effective implement when punishing a young lady.  Clearly it is most effective when applied to the bare bottom.  As you can see in the picture to the right, with each swat it leaves a very distinct mark, and at the end of the spanking it is very clear that she has learned a proper lesson.

If you look closely on the table she is leaning over, you can see the other spoon that was used on her bottom and quickly broken.  Her offense was major, and as a result, the punishment was quite severe.  There is no doubt that Riley will not be repeating her infraction anytime soon.
