If you are over the age of 40, you grew up in a neighborhood in which there was that one mom, who never hesitated to tear up her daughters’ bottoms whenever it was required. You might not have actually known who that mom was, but you can count on the fact that she existed. She herself, having grown up in the 50’s, was subjected to harsh corporal punishment from her own mother. She knew first-hand the results of such effective discipline and never once ever consider raising her own daughters any other way. Yes, these moms still exist today, but it is not as common as it was over the two previous generations.

For this mom, there are no time outs, there is no grounding, pretty much all discipline matters are handled on the spot. She does not need to wait for dad to get home to take care of things; she is more than capable of administering corporal punishment, at any degree of severity, whenever the situation calls for it. It is not something that she stopped doing once the girls grew older, if anything, the punishments became more frequent and intense as teen girls find all sorts of ways to get themselves into trouble.

They both know that when they are sent for the spoon that their world is going to change very quickly. She does not use the spoon like a paddle, with well-spaced swats; she uses it just like her hand and spanks fast and hard. The use of an implement also does not mean that the spanking will be any shorter than if she was using her hand. She is using the spoon because that is was their behavior requires, and it too will be applied for minutes at a time.

bottoms. With a long wooden handle, and a striking surface at least an inch thick, it is all business. Its entire purpose in this world is to completely and totally change a young lady’s behavior. It is used effectively and severely, and when it comes out, the tears begin to flow. Both girls know, far too well from past experience, that the hairbrush is pure pain. Just as with her hand or with the spoon, there are no adjustments made as a result of the severity of the implement. Once again, it is their behavior that designates what they are spanked with, so if the hairbrush is called for, then so be it. After a few minutes with the brush, sitting is no longer an option.
Spankings can be administered anytime and anywhere in this home, as this mom is not all that picky. If she is in the middle of something, she will simply send the offending girl to her room to wait. If she is able to take care of it on the spot, then bottoms are bared and the spanking is given in the most convenient location. No consideration is given as to their privacy, or who may be present, if a spanking needs to take place, it will. If the girls have gotten in trouble together, then two bottoms may have to be bared.
